Bobcats' Richardson has knee examined

The test, prompted by inflammation in the joint, revealed no structural damage.

Richardson will miss Charlotte's contest Friday against Utah, and is doubtful for Sunday's game against Orlando. In seven games this season, Richardson is averaging 17.6 points, 4.3 rebounds and 2.9 assists.
